PACE 2018 Annual Conference Reflections

Hello Everyone,

By all accounts the 2018 Annual Conference was another great success.

First of all, everyone raved about the venue. The Omni Grove Park Inn was without a doubt one of the most spectacular hotels we have ever stayed at. The views of the Blue Ridge Mountains were breathtaking and the hotel, with all of its amenities, gave everyone plenty to see and do. The eclectic atmosphere of downtown Asheville was a bonus. The feedback from the attendees was tremendous.

Some of the comments on the evaluation forms were:

“Best content from speakers ever”

“This had the best program of all the years”

“Very good conference – well done by all who contributed – I like the direction PACE is going”

“Excellent conference – relevant, informative, futuristic, great speakers”

“Beautiful locale and helpful service staff”

“Awesome!”

Not bad.

The program was one of the strongest we’ve ever had, and reflected our new focus on sales, marketing and technological strategies to help small to mid-size PEOs (and vendors) expand their reach and generate new business.

Forward thinking presentations by John Slavic, Kevin Knebl, Scott Klososky and Ryan McInerney were informative and actionable, and great examples of our new direction.

Topic variety provided by the Direct Primary Docs, Beth Greene, Wanda Silva and Steve Lewis were also well received and industry relevant.

And of course, Bill Sarpalius is always inspirational.

The new website is progressing nicely and will feature much more content and opportunities for networking, and sharing ideas and strategies for growth.

We’ve launched two new LinkedIn groups through PACE – one for members, and one for the industry as a whole – which we believe will help promote our new growth strategies.

Of course, we are always looking for new members – and the recurring revenue that produces – to help us fund our efforts.

Together, we can Make PACE Great Again!

Thanks for contributing to another great event. Additional events are in the works…stay tuned.

– Ray O’Leary, Executive Director, PACE PEO Association
