Dan McHenry is a seasoned business executive and nationally recognized authority on the formation, growth, operations, and scalable profitability of professional employer organizations (PEOs). His expertise centers on aligning strategy and operations to drive sustainable profitability and long- term financial performance within PEOs. With more than 35 years of industry experience, McHenry offers a comprehensive, 360-degree perspective as a former operator, client, and advisor in the PEO space. McHenry brings a distinctive combination of strategic, financial, and operational expertise, including serving as co-founder and operator of two PEOs—one of which grew to become among the largest in the industry before being acquired by a publicly traded company. Earlier in his career, McHenry worked as a CPA and CMA with a Big 8 international accounting and advisory firm and spent over a decade as an adjunct professor at the university level. Currently, McHenry is President and Business Advisory Group Practice Leader at McHenry Consulting, Inc., a national firm serving the PEO, Human Resource Outsourcing (HRO), and Administrative Services Organization (ASO) industries. He was also a principal in White Label HR, Inc., a back-office platform supporting emerging and early-stage PEOs, which he and his partners successfully sold in 2024. Previously, McHenry co-founded National Business Solutions, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and later co-founded Oasis Outsourcing, where he served as its President. He began his professional career with Price Waterhouse as a CPA and CMA.
